In The Beginning...

In the beginning, there were empty pages waiting to be filled.  Well, virtual pages, virtually waiting, but for actual words and content.  From a real, live person.  Apparently me.  But it's been a busy summer, and I'm afraid to say I have kept them waiting.  Nelson Ledges, Outer Banks, Chicago, lazy days by the pool, they were waiting as well, and seemed like a limited time offer.  (Yes, I realize Chicago is there year round, but I'm too much of a cold-a-phobe to deal with lake effect winds!  It is a summertime only destination in my book.)

There are a few roads that remain to be traveled in these remaining balmy weeks, but it seemed important to start my writing journey today.  So here goes...step one.  It is a baby step to be sure, but in the right direction.  With it, new directions go from dream to road map, as I plot a course for my writing future.

What does that mean?  You'll have to wait for the next step to find out. If the pages could wait for an entire summer, I'm sure the rest of us will make it until my next post.  There's home shopping and a lake weekend ahead (a WARM lake, east coast style and nuclear fueled); must rest up!
